You can easily setup MobaXterm on your laptop/desktop to access the virtual machines created in your VirtualBox. If you do not have VirtualBox on your machine then follow my other article VirtualBox Download.MobaXterm is a powerful tool that is used for remote access and system administration tasks.
To setup MobaXterm on your machine, first, you have to download MobaXterm and Install MobaXterm
please follow the instructions below:
- Go to the website: MobaXterm free Xserver and tabbed SSH client for Windows (mobatek.net) and click on Download button. You will see Free Home Edition is available. Click on Download Now:
2.Click on installer edition as shown below:
3.Once zip file is download, Right click on this and extract:
4.Double click on the extracted folder and double click on msi installer to install the software:
5.Click on Next:
6. Accept the License agreement and click on next:
7. Click on Next:
8. Click on Install:
9. Please wait for some time:
10. Click on Finish:
11.Congratulations! You have successfully installed MobaXterm in your machine. Double click on MobaXterm software:
12.Click on session and then SSH to login to the server. It will ask for Remote host. Please provide the IP address of the server where you want to login:
13. You will get the below message if you login to a server/host first time. Just ignore and accept.
14.Save the password so that you do not have to put the password next time you login:
15. Please provide any master password to store all your user password in a single password vault.
